The Government is Issuing Ordinances That Are Blocking Out the Activity

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is considering as abusive the Ordinance no. 61 / 2002 which sets that the budgetary fees of the societies should be paid only when the money enter the Treasury account. This Ordinance is unfair because the economic agents are bearing great shortcomings because of some delays of payments which are not their fault, but the banks' and the Treasury's.

We think it is unbearable the fact that due to this ordinance, the gods are waiting in customs for days, no matter if they are perishable goods, which are degrading in time. The economical agents can not be hold responsible for the fact that the banks are not making electronically discounts and the Treasury is late on confirming payments.

We think that the natural solution is that of returning to the initial procedure, that of considering that the VAT payment (or of any other budgetary obligations) has been done the moment the economical agent is depositing the payment document that is confirming the payment to the bank. It is absurd, but unfortunately characteristic for the Nastase government to issue pretentious to reaching results on a European level, while he can offer to be at one's disposal only means of the Dambovita district level.
