The Romanian Justice "Under" The Influence of the Old Security

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is thinking that the Protection and Anticorruption Independent Service (SIPA) of the Ministry of Justice is representing an anachronic institution, used nowadays against the interests of the very citizens which are financing it. We believe that SIPA should be not about frighten those who are complaining to the international organisms of the abuses they are submitted to, but to manage the corruption within the ministry, corruption that nothing is made against.

We are considering as outrageous the fact that SIPA is lead by a former Security officer who served the communist regime by torturing those who were against. This former Security employee admits even that he encourages betrayal within jail houses, although he gives it unbelievable purposes, as preventing the up rises.

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is demanding the immediate resignation of the SIPA manager. If this service can not truly win the fight with the corruption within Justice, then it should be closed, because those corrupted people are given already too much protection, coming from the side of many colleagues, of the Police and of the District Attorney.
