The Amendment of the Constitution in the Direction of a True Parliamentarian Republic

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is sustaining the basic revision of the actual Constitution and not just its make-up. The main directions of this revision should be making the Parliament more efficient and enlarging its role towards the executive, in order to reduce the arbitrary of the governing act that has reached today intolerable cottas.

We think that stopping the political migration by withdrawing the mandate of those that are leaving the party the name they used to enter the Parliament, the diminishing of the Parliamentarians number, the restriction of the Parliamentarian immunity to political declarations only and the drastic reglementation of the government ability to issue urgent ordinances.

The new constitution should foresee in an explicit manner the status of magistrate of prosecutors and their exclusion of the Ministry of Justice hierarchy so the rendering the justice more politic should not be so easy to do. Likewise, The Supreme Council of the Magistrate should be awarded a much bigger role in choosing and promoting magistrates.
