The Updating of the Registration of
the Union for the Reconstruction of Romania as Political Party

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR deposed at the Bucharest Tribunal on 23-rd of June all documents that are required for re-register URR as political party. The more than 32.000 signatures gathered by members and our sympathizers cover all the counties of Romania, which reflect the process of development of our local branches, process in which at time being we are focusing our efforts. From those 32.000 signatures, 75% belongs to young persons between 18 and 35 years old.

We consider the recent conditions that were imposed to political parties to re-register or to register are abusive and non democratic; in many European countries the minimum number of needed members for registering a political party is only of some thousands or hundreds. We believe that not bureacracy, but political market has to decide about the existence and further more, about the possible success of a political party. Hoevere, as a party which consider that one priority of Romania is to enforce the law The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR understand to exactly respect alos this law and to re-register in accordance with its conditions.
