Corrupted Men Yelling "Corruption"!

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is considering the Romanian Police attitude abnormal because it is relieving only the corruption of other fields, but carefully hiding the crass corruption within the Police. It is completely absurd the recent Police report according to which in the front seats in the corruption top are clearly detached physicians and teachers, followed by public administrators, bankers, custom officers and, on the last place only a few tens of policemen.

The mocking corruption of many Romanian policemen is one of the major causes of disfunctionalities in Romania. This is what is making ridiculous the citizen's equality in front of the law, as much as because some are favorites - because they are bribing the cops - as well as for that corrupted policemen are being always "forgotten" by their colleagues who are supposed to question them. The fact that policemen are representing a category of privileged citizens, found somehow above the law is representing a major threat towards the Romanian society cohesion because, in the Union for the Reconstruction or Romania - URR's vision this cohesion is based upon equality in front of the law.

The fact that Police is interested only in the physicians' and teachers' corruption made mass media assume the role of cross examining corruption the Police is covering. But, many times it happens that even the most obvious evidence of corruption proved by the media in the case of some policemen remain with out consequences. Because the Romanian Police is questioning or sanctioning its employees not judging from the evidences found against them, but, only when the scandal produced by their facts is surpassing certain proportions and is determining image costs too big, that is extremely rare.
