The Party and the State Capitalism

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is demanding the government equality of treatment for all economical agents, either state-owned, either private ones. It is unacceptable that the government to pay out of public money, which is, ours, debts of thousands of billions of state owned companies and to force in paying only companies with small debts. This way, the government is encouraging itself the lack of competition of the Romanian economy.

We think that subventions towards the state owned companies are immoral, because they are destined not only to their chronically inefficiency but to the increased corruption surrounding them. Two classical methods are annullable some very good equipment in perfectly working conditions to some ridiculous low prices, or, on the contrary, buying at very high costs some garbage equipments. To this one can add more refined methods, as sending ones employees, employees of massively state aided national administrations or companies on holiday to hotels that are practicing the 700 % addition tax for their crappy services.

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is considering that this sick type of economy that PSD is promoting is only useful to some corrupted politicians and businessmen or to some incompetent managers, who would never succeed in wining in a normal market economy. Still, it is extremely unfair for the normal tax payers and for the enterprising people that are willing to win in honest concurrency conditions.
