A Different Level, the Same Objective

The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR is announcing its re-enlistment as a political party, according to the political parties Law of January, the 9th 2003. Our action, started in June, was finished by obtaining a final statement that recognizes the re-enlistment of URR under the law's conditions. We mention that for the recognition of the re-enlistment of the Union for the Reconstruction of Romania - URR has gathered 32.000 signatures, of which over 75 % from youngsters aged 18 to 35.

The re-enlistment of URR occurs as a result of the accelerate development of the party within the territory. In this period there are also the internal, the local and the national elections that will clearly mark the end of the party's first growing stage and the entering into a new stage.

URR has chosen a solid organizatorial construction model, based on a careful selection of members. The reason is that we want to form a coherent team, in which no one would pull in a divergent direction. We are neither hungry for members, nor hunting for more and more followers at any cost, so we are not following the dominant model of Romanian politics of today. The price paid to this model is that the members gained this way will end up publicly sustaining everything that suits them, at one certain point in time, but when it comes to private talks, they will mock anyone that would speak them about values. As opposed to this, we exist only to contribute to the change of this regrettable way of making politics.
